Through contemporary figurative painting and drawing I open up a dialogue with historical artworks and the myths, stories and archetypes that permeate art history.
My personal experience as a queer woman shapes my interpretation of them and pose questions about who is allowed to decide on the perspectives of those stories and find themselves reflected within them.
